If your employer’s insurance carrier denies your claim, you have the right to request a hearing before the North Carolina Industrial Commission. At the hearing, you or your workers’ compensation attorney may present documents and other supporting evidence for your claim, including testimony from coworkers, medical reports, wage stubs, and communications with your employer.
