Fayetteville, North Carolina (August 17, 2026) – Three people were injured, including two who suffered serious injuries, following a three-vehicle crash in Cumberland County, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 10:40 a.m. Friday, August 14, on N.C. 152.
According to the Highway Patrol, a Ford Transit van was traveling east on N.C. 152 when it sideswiped a tow truck that was also traveling east.
The impact caused the tow truck to cross the median and collide with a westbound car. The tow truck then overturned and landed on its side.
The driver of the tow truck and the driver of the Toyota Corolla were seriously injured in the collision, according to troopers.
The driver of the Ford Transit suffered minor injuries.
All three drivers were transported to a hospital for treatment.
